Customize Your Own Journal, Planner, and More ? The Lilypad ...

Have you heard of Paper Coterie?yet? If not, run over there right now. Well, as soon as you finish reading this post, of course. This site offers beautiful customizable journals, planners, calendars, cards, memory boxes, and more.

And no, this is not even a sponsored post ? I ordered my own planner recently and I LOVE it! And right now, Paper Coterie is generously offering a $40 credit for first time customers, using the code FBFORTY. The catch is, they only brought back this offer for an extremely limited time ? the code?FBFORTY?expires tomorrow, 10/14/12.

You could get yourself a new journal, order a bunch of Christmas cards, create a couple calendars for family, whatever you want. The monthly planner that I bought is $34 regular price, which means I got this beauty, filled with photos of my family, FREE (you do pay shipping, which cost me $7).

(Please excuse the photo quality, I snapped these pictures late at night with my iPhone! Oh, and the scribble on the cover was an aftermarket addition :) .)

For some of the photo pages mixed into the planner, or even the cover, I?m sure a digital scrapbook layout would look fabulous! The planners are 8?x8?, coilbound with a plastic cover (to protect photo page) and hard back and come in weekly and monthly editions. The journals are similar style, 6?x8?, and are available in coilbound or hardcover. I appreciate the thickness and heft of the paper, too. No flimsy, thin pages here!

Another of my favorite features is that these planners are tailored to memory keepers. In addition to the classic, roomy calendar squares and note space, there?s a spread each month with spaces for a to-do list, ?favorite moments,? ?a funny thing happened,? ?10 things I am grateful for,? and ?ramblings.? I plan to make good use of these prompts to, well, ?prompt? my memory for future scrapbook pages and my 2013 Project Life album.

Before you hurry off to customize your own goodies (which is similar to creating a photo book, just upload your photos, drag-and-drop them onto the templates, and customize your text and text box placement), I wanted to show you a few more of my favorite things on their site. I wish I could be a first-time customer again!

I think these swatch cards are the cutest idea ever. It?s a mini keepsake all by itself!

Looking for the perfect Christmas countdown calendar? These fabric repositionable posters come in 2 sizes.

The perfect solution to corral the ?stuff? ? kids? artwork, museum tickets, special trinkets, etc. These ?Memory Keeper? boxes come in 10?10 and 10?13 sizes and plenty of choices for cover design. I want one for each kid!

This is really just a tiny sampling of the pretty eye candy on this site. I hope you are able to use the $40 credit, and if you do, please come back here and let us all know what you chose!
